Answer by checkley79(3341)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
D=RT
D=64T FOR THE TRAIN.
D=96(T-.5)
64T=96(T-.5)
64T=96T-48
64T-96T=-48
-32T=-48
T=-48/-32
T=1.5 OR AT 1 HOUR 30 MIN. THEY WILL MEET.
D=64*1.5=96 MILES IS THE DISTANCE FROM THE STATION THEY WILL MEET.
PROOF:
96=96(1.5-.5)
96=96*1
96=96
