Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In terms of just units:
( feet / sec ) x ( sec/min ) x ( min/hr ) x ( miles/ ft ) = miles / hr
To check you can rewrite it like this:
( ft/ft ) x ( sec/sec ) x ( min/min ) x ( miles/hr ) = miles/hr
--------------
The boat's speed is 15 mi/hr
