Question 717952: If it takes one second to go 115 degrees how long does it take to go one degree?
Answer by jndarrell(58)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Set a proportion keeping the units on each side of the equation the same as each other.
Seconds over degrees or degrees over seconds
115/1 = 1/x
Cross multiply
115x=1
Divide both sides by 115 to get x alone
x= 0.0087
check your instructions for guidance on rounding and don't forget your units when reporting the solution
