-use the cross product method to find (x)
$1500=$165
$2500=x

x=($2500*$165)/$1500
x=$412500/$1500
x=$4125/$15

-if u want to check ur answer, substitute (x), into your cross product
$1500=$165
$2500=$275
-and then (criss/cross)
$1500*$275=$2500*$165
