Question 704916: a car travelling at 80kmph, how long would would it take the car to travel 400 meters?
Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You want to work with just meters
( meters ) = ( meters/hr )*( hrs )
( hrs ) = ( meters ) / ( meters / hr )
------------------------------
Also:
( km/hr )*( m/km) = (m/hr)
------------------------
m/hr
and
hrs
( sec/hr )*( hrs ) = (sec)
It takes the car 18 sec to travel 400 m
