He-ping leaves his house and travels at 87 kilometers per hour at the same time that Melody leaves her house and drives 90 kilometers per hour. How long will it be until they meet?

Knowing that the rates are additive can help. Imagine they both started from the same end (not different ends), one vehicle instead of each person's separate one were doing all the traveling, and it wants to reach the other end.
