Question 701516: Jack walks at a constant speed of 80m/min. Find the distance he covers in 30 minutes.

The speed 80m/min means that Jack can walk 80metres every minute.
If jack walked for 2 minutes he would walk (2 times 80)metres that is 160metres.
Because Jack walks for 30 minutes we multiply his speed by the time, that is
80 X 30 = 2400
So Jack walks 2400metres.
