after 1 hour fast car has gone 55 miles, slow car has gone 48 miles, since they went in opposite directions they would be 48+55 (which equals 103) miles away from each other
after 2nd hours fast car has gone 110 miles, slow car has gone 96 miles. They would be 206 miles away from each other.
