Hello,
Let's first change 10 minutes to an hour. This would be 10/60 or 1/6 hour.
Now we can solve this problem.
If the person can run 20 miles in one hour. (20 mph)
Then multiply 1/6 * 20 and we get:
20/6 or 3 1/3 miles
Make sense?
