Distance apart =168 miles
speed of train I = 32 mph
speed of train II = 80 mph
They are moving towards each other.
so they are aproaching each other with speed 80+32 = 112 mph
t= d/r
t= 168/112
= 1.5 hours

Think of the train at the station as standing still
and the disabled train is moving at the sum of their speeds
The disabled train has to travel 168 miles to get
to the station.
Let = the time in hours to get to the station
