I've tried, using the formula : a = vf - fi (over t)
and came up with the answer of -10 m/s^2 (squared)
But, I am not sure it is correct.
Any help would be appreciated.

A sports car accelerates from rest to 40 m/s in 4 s. What is its acceleration?
