As you can probably tell this is a quadratic equation. What you are trying to find is whats known as extreama, specifically what is the absolute maximum of this function. With quadratics the highest or lowest point is always the vertex. Luckily we have a formula to find the vertex -b/2a
simply it will give you a x value that represents how many seconds it will take to reach its height. Take this number and plug it back into the original equation for x to find the height at that time, which is the maximum. Hope I helped
