 Two trains leave Chicago at the same time traveling in opposite directions.

How long before they are 375 miles a part? 

One is going 60 miles per hour formi  

and the other is going 65 miles per hour for 

Question states*** will travel the same amount of time and 

  | Cross Multiplying to solve

 65x = 60(375-x)

 125x = 60*375

    x = 60*375/125 = 180mi, distance traveled by the 60mph train

  = 3hr
