( m / sec ) x ( sec / min ) x ( min / hr ) x ( km / m ) = km / hr
Note that this is the same as:
( sec/sec ) x ( min/min ) x ( m/m ) x ( km / hr ) = ( km / hr )
Now I'll fill in the numbers
( 8 m / sec ) x ( 60 sec / min ) x ( 60 min / hr ) x ( km / 1000 m ) = km / hr
km/hr
The cyclist can travel 288 km in a 10 hr day
