Question 63861: A car accelerates from 13m/s to 25 m/s in 6.0 s. What wasits acceleration? How far did it travel in this time?
Answer by 303795(602) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Final velocity = Initial velocity + Acceleration x time
or mathematically
v = u + at
25 = 13 + 6a
25 - 13 = 13 + 6a - 13
12 = 6a
a = 2 m/s^2
S = the displacement (distance)
distance = 114 metres
