x*1/60=65*(1/60)+1/3
The car has to travel the 1/3 mile plus the distance that Smith travels in one minute.
They are both traveling for one minute (1/60 of an hour)
The other car is going 85 mph and traveled for 1 5/12 miles.
Meanwhile Mr Smith traveled 1 1/12 miles in one minute.
1/3=4/12
1 1/12+4/12=1 5/12
