A car starting from rest moves down on an inclined road with a uniform acceleration . It travels for 100 m in 10 secs . The speed of car at the end of 10 sec is nearly
----------------------
Its average speed = 100/10 = 10 m/sec
It starts at zero --> end speed = 20 m/sec
-------------
Or
s = at^2/2
a = 2s/t^2 = 200/100 = 2 m/sec/sec
----
v = a*t = 2*10
v = 20 m/sec

Answer by Emsley(35)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
S=1/2(u+v)t
So in this case 100=1/2*v*10 100=5v v=20
