Question 615385: Andrew and Bert are 10km apart, They walk towards each other at 6km/h and 4km/h respectively. Given that they leave at the same instant and at this instant a bird starts to fly from Andrew to Bert (and flies at an average of 20km/h); when it reaches Bert it flies back to Andrew, then back to Bert, then back to Andrew, then back to Bert, etc., until Andrew and Bert meet, find the total distance travelled by the bird.

A & B close the distance at 10km/h (6km/h + 4km/h), so it takes one hr for them to meet

in that hour, the bird travels 20km (20km/h * 1h)
