d = rt

1 = r*12

1/12 = r

r = 1/12

So her rate is 1/12 km per min

----------------------------------------

d = rt

3 = (1/12)t ... Note: 3 km = 3000 m

3*12 = t

36 = t

t = 36

So it will take her 36 minutes.
