how far will a car travel from a standing start if it accelerates at 4.0 m/s^2 for 9.0 sec?
---------
4*9 = 36 m/sec at 9 seconds
The average speed is (0 + 36)/2 = 18 m/sec
9 sec * 18 m/sec = 162 meters
