Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
distance= speed * time
800*3 = 2400 miles
20 minutes = 1/3 hours
when late, time taken = 3-1/3 = 8/3 hours
Let x be the increase in speed when it is late.
Distance = speed * time
2400 = (800+x)*8/3
7200 = 6400+8x
800=8x
/8
100 = x
The speed increase will be 100 km/h
so the speed will be 800+100 = 900 km/h
