x represents 2-pointers and y represents 3-pointers so we can set up the equations as x+y=25 and 2x+3y=60 so we can solve the first equation for x and we get x=25-y and then we plug it in the second one and we get 2(25-y)+3y=60 if we solve for y we get 50-2y+3y=60 and we get y =10 and x=15.
