18 kg of bronze was made by combining 12 kg of copper which costs $4/kg with 6kg of tin which costs $10/kg.
Find the cost per kg of the mixture.
:
Let c = cost of the mixture
18c = 4(12) + 10(6)
18c = 48 + 60
c = 108/18
c = $6 a kg
