The basic formula is Distance equals Rate times Time, from which you can derive either Rate equals Distance divided by Time or Time equals Distance divided by Rate.

In your case, you have two objects moving in exact opposite directions. Therefore they are moving apart at the sum of their rates. Divide the given distance by the sum of the two rates.
