Distance equals Rate times Time, therefore Rate must equal Distance divided by Time.
The combined rate must then be 1032 divided by 8. If one of the cars is going 
miles per hour, then the other car must be going 
miles per hour. They are going in opposite directions, so the rate at which they are moving apart is the sum of their speeds. Set 
equal to the result of the combined speed calculation above. Solve for and then calculate .
