Question 565974: A car travels 59 KM at the speed of 90 KM/H. For the rest of the trip the same car travels at the speed of 50 KM/H for 46 KM. How many minutes has the car been traveling?
Answer by ad_alta(240)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Distance=Rate*Time, so Distance/Rate=Time. We know the time traveled is 59/90+46/50 hours. This is (709/450)(60 min/1 hr)=94.5 minutes.
