Typing all caps is the equivalent of shouting. It is both rude and annoying. Please don't apologize or make excuses -- just don't do it any more.
If the bike has a one hour head start at 20 miles per hour, then it will be 20 miles ahead when the car starts. The car is going 10 miles per hour faster, so it needs 20 miles divided by 10 miles per hour equals 2 hours to cover the head start distance.
