Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
distance = 8 miles
the runners are in opposite directions
so add up speeds
6+4 = 10 mph
t=d/r
8/10 = 4/5 of an hour
4/5 *60 = 48 minutes
They will meet at 7:48 AM
