rate = 9000 mph ; time = x hrs ; distance = 9000x miles

2nd rocket DATA:
rate = 10,000 mph ; time = x-(1/4) hrs ; distance = 10000(x-(1/4)) miles

Equation:
distance = distance
9000x = 10,000x - 2500
---
1000x = 2500
x = 2.5 hrs
----
Distance at that time = 9000*2.5 = 22,500 miles
