First set up the equation:
Speed=distance/time so time =distance/speed
Let x represent the time:
6%2F10%2B3%2F5=x
so:10%286%2F10%29%2B10%283%2F5%29=10%28x%29
6+6=10x
x=1.2
Hence, the total time was 1.2hours.
