-----
Assuming there are 5 school days in each week you get:
5*15 <= time <= 5*25
-----
75 min <= time <= 125 min
=============================
1hr 15 min <= time <= 2hr 5 min

Let represent the number of days each week that John attends school. Based on the information you provided which is sketchy at best, there is no reason to assume that this is any particular number, except to say it must be at least 1 and no greater than 7. 7 being the most possible days in one week and at least one because the definitive statement "John runs track..." excludes zero.

So, not knowing the number, the very least he could run in one week is one day times 15 minutes, or 15 minutes. The very most he could run in one week is 7 times 25.

On the other hand, if you have a particular number in mind that equates to the term "school day", herein referred to as , the least would be and the greatest

The arithmetic is yours to do. Remember to divide the results of all your calculations by 60 to convert minutes to hours.

John
