24.2857hrs for 100%
24.2857-17=7.2857
so 7.2857hrs more
or 7hrs 17mins 8.5secs
oops well this is correct but if you wanted the equation for the problem to solve straight forward its:
17%2F70=%2817%2Bx%29%2F100
1700=70%2817%2Bx%29
1700=1190%2B70x
510=70x
7.2857=x



check:
.7=70%
.7%2A24.2857=16.9999
.3=30% which is what is missing
.3%2A24.2857=+7.2857
changing the times from hrs to mins to secs:
its at 7 hours plus the extra which i changed to mins
.2857%2A60=17.1426 so 17mins and extra turns into secs
.1426%2A60=8.556 so 8.5secs
giving 7hrs 17mins and 8.5secs
