:
Write a distance equation; dist = speed * time
.5(300) + t(600) + .5(300) = 2700
150 + 600t + 150 = 2700
600t + 300 = 2700
600t = 2700 - 300
600t = 2400
t = 2400/600
t = 4 hrs at 600 mph
