Question 513579: car a runs 65.5 km/hr . car b runs 57.32 km/hr. how far apart will they be after 2.25 hours?
Answer by Maths68(1474) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the cars run in opposite direction from the same point
Car A will travel = 65.5*2.25 = 147.375 km
Car B will travel = 57.32*2.25 = 128.97 km
They will be (147.375+128.97) km apart after 2.25 hours
They will be 276.345 km apart after 2.25 hours

If the cars run in same direction from the same point
Car A will travel = 65.5*2.25 = 147.375 km
Car B will travel = 57.32*2.25 = 128.97 km
They will be (147.375-128.97) km apart after 2.25 hours
They will be 18.405 km apart after 2.25 hours
