Plane speed= x mph
Wind speed = y mph
with current speed= (x+y)
against current speed= (x-y)
d= 2520 with Wind
2520 / (x+y) = 4
divide by 4
630 / (x+y) = 1
(x+y) = 630 ............1
d= = 1720 against wind
1720 /(x-y)= 4
divide by 4
430 /(x-y) = 1
x - y = 430 .............2
add up (1) & (2)
2 x = 1060
/ 2
x= 530 mph speed of Plane
plug value of x in (1)
we get y= 100 mph Wind speed
