Question 508746: I need help setting up this word problem in a chart and the equation:
Exactly 30 minutes after the Andersons' head south on the highway, the Quentins' set out from the same point and follow the same route. The Andersons' travel at 50mi/h. The Quentins' travel at 65 mi/h. How long does it take the Quentins' to overtake the Andersons?
Please respond back today before nine I need HELP.

So Speed * Time= Distance
Let t be time for Anderson.
The t-30 be time for Quentins
So
Convert 30 mins to hours as the speed is miles/hr.
