At noon you leave city X driving to city Y at 40mph. Two hours later your friend leaves city Y driving to city X at 60mph. The cities are 380 mile apart. What time do you meet?

x-2= friend's driving time
distance=speed*driving time
40x+60(x-2)=380
40x+60x-120=380
100x=500
x=5 hrs
