Question 506370: if and airplane travels at an avergae speed of 550 miles per hour, how long will it take for the airplane to travel 2,000 miles
Answer by Sarah900(12) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Distance= speed*time
From the problem we know that the distance traveled is 2000 and the speed is 550 so if we plug this in we have
2000=550t
We can then isolate t to find the time
2000/550=t
so t is approximately 3.64 hours
