Alex and Betty walk at 4 mph to their car. It takes them almost an hour.
In their car, they travel (at 16 mph) the same distance as they walked.
All together, their walking and traveling by car took exactly one hour.
How long did they walk?

Let t = time spent walking (in hrs)
then it said the round trip took 1 hr therefore:
(1-t) = time spent driving

The walking dist and the driving dist is the same, write a dist equation: dist = speed * time
