Answer by jorel1380(3719) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
n+2n=1
3n=1
n=1/3
40 min @ 25 mph=20 min @ 50 mph
40 min+20 min=1 hour
2/3 hour X 25 mph=16.67 miles
1/3 X 50=16.67 miles
You drove 16.67 miles each way.
