Solution,
a = v/t, where a - an acceleration, v - velocity, t - time
a = 20/6
a = 3.333 m/s^2 <-----answer

Acceleration is defined as change in velocity over change in time.
Change in velocity is from 20 to 0 or -20
Change in time is 6
Thus acceleration is -20/6 which can be reduced to -10/3.
