Question 466383: If natasha is driving 300miles and want to make the trip in 5hours
Answer by Theo(13342)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
rate * time = distance
time = 5 hours
distance = 300 miles
rate * 5 = 300
rate = 300 / 5 = 60 miles per hour.
5 hours times 60 miles per hour equals 5 * 60 = 300 miles
natasha would have to average 60 miles per hour in order to be able to drive 300 miles in 5 hours.
