Betty Sue’s camel travels at 6mph while Carls travels at a slower pace. After 3 hrs. they are 2.4 mile apart. Find the speed of Carl’s camel.

3*6=3*x+2.4
x=5.2 mph
so one goes 6 and the other goes 5.2 for a difference of .8

in 3 hours there is a difference of 2.4 miles
3*.8=2.4
