Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How long will it take a car traveling 20 mph to go 20 feet?
-----------------
time = distance/rate
---
time = 20 ft/20mph = (20/20)(ft*hr/miles)
---
= (1)(1ft*3600 sec/5280 ft)
----
The "ft." cancel leaving you with:
----
= (3600/5280) seconds
---
= 0.6818 seconds
