Question 429525: The orbit of Planet A has a mean distance from teh sun of 2.7x10 7 (power) miles while the orbit of Planet B has a mean distance from the sun of 6.5 x 10 7 (Power)miles. How long would it take a spacecraft traveling at 1.900x10 3 (Power) miles per hour to travel from the orbit of Planet A to the Orbit of Planet B. They would like the answer in scientific notation.
I am not good with word problems (I have a language disorder). I tried to visualize it, but I don't really know where Planet A is from B, same side, or does it matter?

From the context of the question we have to assume the orbit is circular. First, we find the distance from one orbit to the other, given by where A and B are the respective distances from the sun. This is equal to miles.
