distance = 90 miles ; rate = x mph ; time = 90/x hrs.

Local bus DATA:
distance = 75 miles; rate = (x-7)mph ; time = 75/(x-7) hrs

Equation:
time = time
90/x = 75(x-7)
90(x-7) = 75x
90x-75x = 630
15x = 630
x = 42 mph (express bus rate)
