Then time for up journey = %28distance%29%2F%28speed%29 = x%2F50 hours
and time for down journey = %28distance%29%2F%28speed%29 = x%2F40 hours.
So total time taken during the journey = x%2F50+%2B+x%2F40 = 9x%2F200 hours.
But, given this time is 7.2 hours.
So 9x%2F200+=+7.2
or x+=+200%2A%287.2%2F9%29
or x = 160

Hence the reqd. distance between the home of Mr. Jones and Disneyland is 160 miles.
