If I am traveling 35mph going somewhere 8 miles away. How long will it take me to get there? What's the equation for this answer?
Ok, firstly the formula is as following: Speed = Distance/time
Time = distance/speed
Distance = Speed*Time
So you wish to know time. SO simply plug your values into the formula:
Time = Distance/Speed
Time = 8/35
Time = 0.228.... We'll put it as 0.2.
0.2 hours is = to 12 minutes.
SO it will take you 12 minutes to get there.
