a. how long would it take the sprinter to run 100.0m?

Find his speed in meters/sec
Convert 100 yds to meters: 100 * .9144 = 91.44 meter
in 9.3 sec
= 9.832 meters/sec
then
= 10.17 sec to run 100 meters
