Question 387571: There is a honey bee and a train 100Kms apart. The train travels at 40Km/Hr and bee at 60Km/hr. Both start from opposite direction. If the honeybee returns back to the starting point after colliding with the train. It again returns back after meeting the starting position and this process continues till the train reach the position at which the honeybee started. Find the total distance travelled by the honeybee.

Distance(d) equals Rate(r) times Time(t) or d=rt; r=d/t and t=d/r
It takes the train 100/40=2.5 hours to get to the bee's starting point.
In 2.5 hours, the bee travels 60*(2.5)=150 km
This assumes the bee does not lose any time making u-turns
